Doppler Radar image

A Doppler radar image is an image is created by a radar using the Doppler effect to measure radial velocity and microwave signals. It can be used to measure velocity of hurricanes and tornadoes. This is an image over Houston, Texas during Hurricane Claudette in 2003

Black and white aerial photo's are ideal for locating very detail changes in a land's image and shape. This is a photo of different patterns on an island in Sacramento. Black and white is also cheaper to produce.

This is a remote sensing map put together by NASA's Jet propulsion laboratory in California. It shows daily MODIS satellite imagery from the previous day. It is used mostly to predict upcoming weather conditions.
